matt, what can you tell us? >> reporter: well, i can tell you that since that shooting there's been another officer- involved shooting here in san jose that is not related to the first shooting. so very busy morning for san jose police. as you mentioned there was an officer-involved shooting in the area of king and wilshire this morning after a suspect vehicle tried to run over officers or at least tried to strike officers. officers responded by opening fire. the suspect was hit and was taken to the hospital. another suspect an armed robbery suspect is on the loose and basically bailed from the car on foot. then four hours later we were told that there was another officer-involved shooting a different part of the city. we're now at san carlos and lincoln where officers responded to the armed robbery of a safeway store. they found a suspect in the middle of the street. he was brandishing a gun. they opened fire did not strike the suspect. he basically gave up and was arrested. so now we have two crime scenes both
